Bacharas - Blog #7 - The Bacharas Dress Code

Here is a pic of Ras in lederhosen!! Centre stage is our beloved Oma Reinhold.
Some of you have been asking about the dress code for our event. Remember in Spain... the polka dot theme. You will be relieved to know its not lederhosen. This year we have chosen GOLD! Come in a full bling suit, wear a subtle gold jewel, paint your face... celebrate gold, which represents generosity, wisdom and everlasting friendship!
A few logistics queries from Ras: What time will you arrive? What is your menu choice (meat/fish/veggie)? Thanks to those who have already answered. Expect an email from Ras with accommodation details and costs.
A special request from Ras - NO PRESENTS!! But if you would like to slip me 10 euros it will go towards a book of photos. Tina made one for him of a previous birthday, and he would love one again, with beautiful friends in beautiful places.
Resident photographers, Issy and Isaac (SEE PICS HERE)will capture you in all your glory! They will share their photos, so you can put away your phones and take a digital detox!
As well as photos, I am trying to collect some songs/music which we associate with Ras. So send me any ideas which pop into your mind. Click BOOGIE by BACCARA for one I had in mind!

Burt Bacharach mostly like has German ancestry in town of Bacharach, however the connect to Andreas is that his mother was amateur artist and did a few paintings like Andreas.
Ella Fitzgerald played a most memorable concert in Berlin which Andreas's Mum and Dad when to see.
Looking forward to taking Ras out in the cricket again! Although both of us a few years older so might not manage to jump as high 😂😂😂

Looking forward to meeting up with old faces from previous birthday celebrations. The location looks and sounds fab! I'm going with the flow...I'm going to be consumed by scenery. No real dietary preferences, but I don't eat much pork (if any at all). Otherwise, veggies, fish, seafood, chicken...and a good glass of wine (of course)! Know Rass since 1983 (I think)....my memory is going - ha! See ya soon!
